“It’s time for America to sing a new song,” Beyonce said as she endorses Kamala Harris, in front of her hometown – Houston, Texas.
Beyonce addressed the crowd as a mother and an American. She gave a heartfelt speech, asking Americans to vote because this election is pivotal. Knowles-Carter briefly mentioned women rights, freedom, and unity.
Beyonce has often been criticized for her silence concerning political issues, but not this time. The crowd cheered on as she spoke genuinely – urging America to make history. “A world where we are not divided” Beyonce said, “our past, our present, and our future merged to meet us here.”
